Twin Falls Territorial Park - Escarpment Creek Campground

General Information

The Escarpment Creek Group Campground, located in Twin Falls Territorial Park, is a group campsite available for private rentals only. Guests who reserve can enjoy the exclusive use of 12 powered campsites, a group fire pit area with seating, outhouse, and potable water. This park is a lovely group camping destination for large groups of RV campers. There are no shower facilities at the park, but guests are welcome to use the facilities at the Louise Falls Campground. 

The park is closed for the 2025 season due to wildfire damage. No camping or day use activities are permitted until remediation work is complete.

Located in Twin Falls Territorial Park on NWT Highway 1, 78 km from the NWT/Alberta border. The park is just outside of the hamlet of Enterprise and 50 km from the Town of Hay River.

Park Highlights

This park is a lovely group camping destination, located 3 km north of the Louise Falls Campground. Escarpment Creek is situated along the stunning deep gorge of the Hay River, the park is adorned by an attractive series of small waterfalls connected by trails that lead to the Louise and Alexandra Falls.

Perhaps the best beach in the North, the Hay River Beach is miles of sandy dunes stretching along the shores of Great Slave Lake.
Make time on your Saturday to visit Hay Rivers' Fisherman's Wharf, a market filled with local goods and crafts. It's open from 10 am - 2 pm on Saturdays during the summer.
