
Getting a permit
Commercial Use

Territorial parks are attractive venues for businesses and commercial enterprises to operate. Offering activies and services in parks enhance the visitors experiences and provide established facilities to operate. If you are a business or commercial enterprise wishing to operate within a territorial park, you will however require a permit. Examples of commercial activities requiring a permit would include (but are not limited to):
- Industrial or scientific activities
- Guiding or Outfitting Services
- Equipment Rentals
- Photography or Filming
- Food Vendor/Concessions
- Boat tours
- Research Activities
To obtain a Permit, you must submit an application.
The application is free and upon approval, the permit fee is $200 (+GST).
All fees and projected costs must be paid once the application is approved, prior to park use.
Commercial use permit cost
A commercial use permit is $200 and an additional $100 fee may apply if infrastructure, signs or relocating park fixtures are required to support business operations.
All fees are due once the application is approved and before any commercial or business activity can take place in the park. Commercial use permit fees are non-refundable.
Please apply well in advance (accepted up to a year prior), as the review timeline varies depending on the timing of the submission. Permits cannot be obtained 'on-the-spot' at the park and businesses operating with out a permit can be fined.
