Powder Point Day Use Area is located next to Hidden Lake Territorial Park on the eastern arm of Prelude Lake. Powder Point is a popular jumping off point for canoe routes in the area and overnight parking is permitted to access backcountry camping in Hidden Lake Territorial Park. The Ingraham Trail Road Trip begins in Yellowknife and extends 70 km/43.5 mi along NWT Highway 4 to Tibbitt Lake.
