Extended Stay Campsites

Seasonal campsite rentals are available at Prelude and Reid Lake Territorial Parks. Combined there are 10 full-season campsites and 80 half-season campsites available for rent at a discounted rate.  Due to a high demand for the limited number of campsites and for fairness, the sites are distributed in a lottery-type process. The booking schedule and rates are as follows:

Campsite Availability:

Prelude Lake Territorial Park

  • Prelude Lake Territorial Park       Half-season (May 15 - July 15)             $924 GST incl.         20 permits
  • Prelude Lake Territorial Park       Half-season (July 15 - Sept 15)            $924 GST incl.          20 permits 

Reid Lake Territorial Park

  • Reid Lake Territorial Park            Half-season (May 15 - July 15)             $924 GST incl.          20 permits
  • Reid Lake Territorial Park            Half-season (July 15 - Sept 15)             $924 GST incl.          20 permits
  • Reid Lake Territorial Park            Full-season (May 15 - Sept 15)            $1848 GST incl.          10 permits

 

Registration and campsite draw for the extended-stay campsites will take place at the DND Gymnasium at the Multiplex in Yellowknife on February 22, 2025.

Registration: 12:00-2:25 pm.

Campsite Draw and site selection: 2:30pm.

 

What to bring: 

  • Photo ID to match payment method.
  • Recreational Vehicle Registration in the name of the applicant
  • Proxy form if needed (print proxy form from the website and fill in and sign with Proxy information.)
  • Credit card, money order or bank draft for the appropriate amount (s) made out to GNWT (may need 2 different ones if applying for options of full season or half season)
